The following guidelines are for new kindergarten students during the 2023-2024 school year.
Age Requirement
Entrance age for kindergarten students includes any child or resident of Fairhaven, who:

Current Preschool Students
Kindergarten registration is not necessary for current Fairhaven Public Schools preschool students.
Register Online
The Fairhaven Public Schools now offer online registration. Please follow the following steps to begin registering your student.
Step 1. Create a Fairhaven Aspen-X2 Account.
All registrations take place on Fairhaven's Aspen-x2 platform. You must create and request an Aspen account.
On Aspen's login ID screen, select the "Request an Account " link to get started.

Step 2. Pre-register through Fairhaven's Aspen-x2
Once have successfully logged into Aspen:
- Locate the New Student Registration link.
- Select the Initiate button, example shown below.
Step 3. Upload Documents through Fairhaven's Aspen.
The following documents must be uploaded and provided at the time of registration:
- Birth Certificate
- Immunization records
- Residency Statement
- Proof of Residency
Additional Documents
- If applicable: Certified copy of probate court order or judgment relative to the custody of the child.
- In the event of a restraining order or another legal decree, please ensure that up-to-date information is on file in the school office.
