On May 3, 2010, Governor Patrick signed into law comprehensive legslation to address bullying in public schools. Chapter 92 of the Acts of 2010, An Act Relative to Bullying in Schools, requires our district to create and implement strategies to prevent bullying, and to address bullying promptly and effectively when it occurs.
The most recent updated plan was reviewed and approved by the School Committee on November 15, 2017.
The Task Force continues to exist today in an effort to continually evaluate the current plan and district protocols.
Parents and guardians play an important role in the prevention effort, therefore we encourage you to review the valuable resources listed below. Should you have any questions or comments, please contact a Task Force member.
